St .Josephs Secondary School Umuna Orlu L.G.A was established in 2003 by the yawning need to provide a citadel of learning to arrest the

falling standard of education in the society and ensure excellence in both character and learning.

The current Bishop of the Diocese and the Proprietor of the school, Most Rev. Dr. Tochukwu Augustine Ukwuoma continued to realize the dream

with no less zeal.

After the death of Rev. Fr. Longinus Ogowuihe who died in active service while trying to raise the school.

The Bishop placed Rev. Fr. Samuel Ugochukwu Obasi in charge of the school to continue the race and the result has been wonderful.

The school has won many awards, produced good, proud and happy leaders of tomorrow that are sound in morals and academics.
